Rick’s Prayer for 3-29-20
2 Chronicles 20:20-22
So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.” Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.
Let us Pray- Heavenly Father, it is with great sorrow that we have not come together in your house today, but with this prayer may we all hold up our hands and praise the Lord for His mercy endures forever. Father it is in our hands, we hold up all the elderly people of this body of Christ and all the elderly that are around us and in this nation. We ask in prayer for you to comfort their hearts and souls. May you put into their hearts the hope of an everlasting life. Lord, like Jehoshaphat our world faces an ambush of the unseen and unknown and we ask you with our faith to use your power to heal the sick and halt the enemy we face today for it is with your powers, you over came the world. Heavenly Father, we wish to praise you with the knowledge that your Mercy Endures Forever, if only we keep in our hearts your two great commands -We shall Love the Lord Our God with all our hearts, with all our souls, and with all our minds! 2nd- To Love our Neighbors as we love ourselves! Father we ask for the forgiveness of our sins and ask you to use these times to make our faith stronger for we are weak and you are strong. We praise you for all you have done in our daily lives and thank you for all your mercy’s that endure forever. Yours is the Kingdom, Power, and Glory forever and ever! In your son’s name, Jesus Christ we pray-Amen.
