What We Believe:

  • Scripture as Authority:

    • Churches of Christ believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and the sole guide for faith and practice.

  • Restoration Movement:

    • We consider themselves part of the Restoration Movement, aiming to restore the church to its original form as established by Jesus Christ.

  • A Cappella Worship:

    • Most Churches of Christ only use a cappella (unaccompanied vocal music) in their worship services, believing this is what is prescribed in the New Testament.

  • Baptism by Immersion:

    • We practice baptism by immersion for the remission of sins, a belief that it is a necessary step for salvation.

  • Weekly Communion:

    • The Lord's Supper (communion) is observed weekly, typically on Sundays, and is open to all believers.

  • Congregational Autonomy:

    • Each local congregation operates independently, without a central authority or hierarchy.

  • Emphasis on Unity:

    • We strive for unity among believers, emphasizing the importance of following the Bible and avoiding denominational divisions.

  • Individual Responsibility:

    • We believe in individual responsibility for one's faith and actions and encourage personal devotion and a biblical lifestyle.
